PcVue for the QORVO‘s Facility Control Management System

The QORVO factory in DeZhou, China was built with an investment of $500 million. It mainly produces mobile phones and other communications products with RF chip, to support Nokia, Qualcomm, Siemens, Ericsson, Motorola, Samsung, LG, Hyundai and many other electric companies. QORVO is located in a prime location of DeZhou economic and technological development zone, on the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail line, also monitored by PcVue. The Dezhou plant is 1.5 times bigger than the one in Beijing, and undertakes large-scale and high-volume production task, it also serves as the technology research and research staff training center.

PcVue solutions technical details

As a software platform for plant control and management system, PcVue provides superior performance, high availability and security. This system platform includes an engineering station, two redundant server stations, one client station and 5 Web clients which deliver access through IE. This project size is over 5000 IO. The 2 redundant servers communicate with Siemens S7-400H through PcVue built-in S7 communication protocol. PcVue guarantees no data loss thanks to archived data synchronization between redundant servers.

The scope of the FMCS includes air conditioning system, gas system, water system, compressed air and vacuum system, etc., ensuring an overall efficient and secured plant operation for the management team.
